BEACH AND RESORT POOL
How close is the LeVent resort from Eagle Beach? The resort is located about 2 minutes walk from Eagle Beach. Just exit the premises of the resort, walk on the paved road across the street towards the beach, cross the narrow low-traffic beach access on the pedestrian crossing area and you’re on the beach!
Are there palapas/shade on the beach?/ Are there palapas/shade at the resort? There are straw cabanas and palapas on the beach for public use on a first-come-first-serve basis. You can also rent a beach umbrella and lounge chairs from one of the several watersports companies or beach bars located on Eagle Beach. Around the resort pool deck, there are shaded and unshaded areas for use by all LeVent guests.
Is there a beach and/or lounge chairs available on the beach or at the resort? There are several lounge chairs around the resort pool deck for use by all LeVent guests, open from 7 am – 8 pm. Each of our LeVent properties is also provided with portable beach chairs that can be taken to the beach; of course, these are not to be left on the beach!
Are there beach towels available? For all our Prestige guests, upon check-in, you will receive your beach towels in accordance with the number of guests. These beach towels can be exchanged once a day and free of charge.
Is there public transportation close to the resort? / Do you recommend renting a car? Frequent public transportation passes along the boulevard about a 2 minutes’ walk from the premises of this resort, taxies are available at the resort within a 5 minutes from your call, the Eagle Beach is just a few steps away, several good restaurants, a large supermarket, and two casinos are within walking distance; so a rental car is actually not a requirement. However, if you wish to explore the rest of the island (beautiful sites!) or visit the more remote but exquisite restaurants and landmarks, we then do recommend renting a car. We will be happy to assist you with your rental car reservation.
Where can I rent a car?/ Can you rent a car for me? We have a special arrangement with several local car rental companies for our guests. If you have a booking with us, and would also like to rent a car or 4×4, just let us know in advance (by phone or via e-mail) and we can send a rate list so that you can make your choice, we will make all arrangements and confirm via e-mail. You must, however, inform us of your arrival flight data or in lieu thereof, call them as soon as you arrive on the island to pick you up. Your condo reservation with us will secure your car rental reservation, and further car rental payment arrangements will take place directly with the rental company after arrival. Parking is free of charge at the resort!
Can you provide airport transportation? If you’re not renting a car, we can have an associated taxi driver waiting for you when you arrive, to take you to the resort. Regulatory taxi fares are applicable; there is no extra charge for this service. This will only avoid you from waiting in queue for a taxi cab (maximum of 5 passengers per cab), but there are ample taxi cabs available at the airport’s arrival hall. The fare includes 1 large luggage piece per passenger; hand luggage is not counted. Large luggage pieces in excess are charged at about $2 each.
RESTAURANTS AND GROCERIES
Can you recommend any restaurants? Sure we can! Just ask us to send you our “favorite and recommended restaurant list”. If you give us your information we will make the reservations for you as well; this is a free service for our guests!
Are there Grocery stores / Supermarkets close by the resort? There is a mini-market – DMarket – in the lobby of the LeVent resort for all your convenient shopping needs. There are also a few convenience stores in the area (at other hotels and in front of the gas station close by). About 0.6 miles away there is a supermarket – Super Food Plaza – for all your grocery shopping requirements. Another large supermarket – Ling & Sons IGA Supercenter – is located about a 5 minutes’ drive away.
How does your grocery service work? Our grocery service is executed based on a shopping list of required groceries, to be provided by you. The provided list will be purchased on the day of your arrival (a day prior to arrival if the arrival day is a holiday) and appropriately stored in your unit prior to your estimated check-in time. A 15% service charge, with a minimum of US$10, is applicable to your actual grocery bill, and your grocery payment takes place cash at check-in. Please send us your grocery list at your earliest convenience if you would like to make use of this service, or at least a few days prior to arrival.
Are there BBQ grills available for guests to use? The LeVent resort has 2 large BBQ-grills on the premises for use by all LeVent guests on a first-come-first-serve basis. Each unit is individually owned, thus provides for its own BBQ grill where possible.
Are there elevators or stairs in the building of LeVent? There are two elevators and three stairs cases in the building of this seven-floor complex.
Is there hot water in the LeVent properties? All our units in this vacation rental resort have their own hot water facility.
Is there a daily maid service? Your unit will be cleaned prior to and after your stay. Guests who are staying longer than one week receive a free weekly full cleaning service. If additional cleaning is desired we will be happy to arrange that for you at an additional cost.
Is there a hairdryer in the property? All our LeVent accommodations are provided with a hairdryer.
Do you have a crib and or high chair? We have a package of a full-size crib with linen and a high chair available at $12.50 per night.
Can I rent a local mobile phone? We can arrange a rental mobile phone for our guests, at US$ 3 per day. The $3 per day is only for the rental of the phone with a local phone number and SIM card. Outgoing local and international calls are of course charged separately. You receive the phone with a certain amount of calling credit, and additional calling credit can be purchased easily on the island (at all gas stations, drug stores, mini-markets, supermarkets, etc.). Payment for the rental fee and settlement of used calling credit takes place when checking out. The rate for local calls is $0.15 to $0.20 per minute; the rate for long-distance calls e.g. to the US and Canada, using the mobile phone, is additionally about $0.25/minute.
Can I arrive or leave any day of the week? Our dates are fully flexible, so you may arrive or depart on any day of the week, and your length of stay can be any amount of days (minimum 7 nights in super high-season and 3 nights in other seasons). Nonetheless, please let us know your firm dates at your earliest convenience since the (super) high-season weeks are likely to be fully booked a long time in advance.
