Eagle Beach Aruba

My wife and I had never been to Aruba before and chose it for our 2 week vacation. While searchimg VRBO for.a condo to rent we became a bit overwhelmed with all the amazing choices. We made our decision of.a condo and could not have been happier. The condo was perfect for our needs. Quiet, private balcony, clean, location and it was a bonus with the private roof top hot tub. Aruba is now my favorite island and this is my favorite condo.

We stayed in Boca Grande building room 532 the week after Easter. It is a one bedroom condo with one bathroom, living room, kitchen, balcony and a roof top terrace with lounge chairs and a hot tub. The rooms are reasonably sized, the bathroom modern with a great shower, and one of the best equipped kitchens I have encountered in a rental condo. Living room furniture very comfortable. The building is across from Eagle Beach, one of the most beautiful beaches I have ever seen in the islands. The complex has three pools that are very clean surrounded by plentiful chairs.. There are numerous tiki umbrella stands around the pool and we never had trouble getting one. There are also the same umbrellas on the beach, but they are generally taken by 9 am. While most restaurants and bars are in the high rise Palm Beach area, there are numerous excellent restaurants and bars in walking distance (Chalet Suisse, Passion on the Beach [a must!], Sea Breeze, Water's Edge, Elements [a must]. The Eagle Beach area just seems far less crowded and easy, 
There is a great grocery store with a wine/spirits section about 15-20 minute walk away. The staff will pre-stock your room with any food or liquor/ wine you want for a 15% premium, but it is absolutely worth it. 
The check in and check out is very personal, quick and professional. Other properties need to take lessons from these people. 
There is no Uber here but taxis are cheap and easily obtained. 
The only down side to this experience was breakdowns. One rooftop lounge chair was broken and couldn't be replaced in our time frame. The hot tub did not work the first night but was fixed. The ice maker in the refrigerator stopped producing towards the end of our visit, but there is an ice machine by the racquet club. 
Our balcony and rooftop terrace has beautiful views of the area. 
Aruba is now my favorite island. When I return, I will want to rent this property again.

Nice Trip

Prestige has been nothing but amazing. This trip was canceled due to Covid in 2020. They were very generous with the cancelation policy! Oceania is well maintained and the security was an added bonus. We enjoyed the pool every night and usually had it to ourselves. That staff was all super nice and easy to deal with. The view from the condo was amazing. The condo is definitely in need of some updating though. The bed was bowed and had been repaired a few times already and the dresser drawers were falling apart. It was very clean too but for what you pay to stay here, it was not up to standards in my opinion. Hopefully, the condo owner can make some updates at some point. Perfect Vacation

The penthouse suite was very nice and clean. It had everything we needed in the kitchen which is convenient since we are so close to a grocery store. The views from the balcony and the rooftop were excellent. The property felt very safe. The beach in front didnt get too crowded and having the cabanas on the beach is a huge plus to stay all day on the beach without getting too much sun. Overall the stay was really good, the condo was extremely cleaned and comfortable. The place was well equipped with everything you need. I did have to buy bath soap, shampoo and conditioner. I did laundry and so also bought extra detergent. The only thing that was missing for me was the bedroom fan did not work which made it a bit hot at night. I was only there for 3 nights so I did not raise as an issue. Host was fantastic and even bought groceries for me before I arrived. I worked out everyday. The gym has a few cardio machines, weight bars and free weights. Enough for a pretty good work out. Loved the pool and the short walk to the beach. Although there are beach chairs in the condo, I rented a chaise for $10. Overall, perfect location, loved the hot tub on the roof and just an overall A+. - (Aug 2020 - Airbnb)

My husband, my baby and I stayed here for 5 nights and had a wonderful stay. The unit was the right size and came equipped with all that we would need. With a well-equipped kitchen, we enjoyed having the option to cook some of our meals. Thanks to the close proximity to the Superfood (and the rental car we had) , the kitchen provided all that we needed to be able to make many of our meals. The rooftop space was quite lovely (just wish WiFi had extended to it) but it was a great space to enjoy a drink late in the day. The bed was quite comfy and the room was fairly spacious overall. The balcony provided a view that was hard to beat. Looking at the Aruban beach does not get old! The unit also came equipped with several beach necessities--chairs, towels, floats, and a cooler. The walk from the door to the beach was only about 2 and a half minutes. Again, something hard to beat. The beach area had a fair amount of palapas. Most days we were able to snag one, sometimes after waiting for 30 minutes or so under shade from one of the trees. Overall, the host was very helpful throughout the whole process.
